Dale is an award-winning filmmaker with a body of work that has no boundaries:

Feature Documentaries, Television, Commercials, Animation, Short Films and Concerts.

His background in Production Design fuels his superb art direction and unexpected camera angles

but it’s his magnificent sense of story that capture the emotion in his films.

 

Dale was part of the 2021 team that produced the AMAZON series “ALL OR NOTHING | TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS”

as well as the International Tennis documentary “DESERT LOVE”

 

He is best known for his film work with rock legends RUSH. As creative director, live concert director

and documentary director, his Paul Rudd narrated feature documentary “RUSH | TIME STAND STILL”

received 5-star reviews across the continent on its way to winning the 2018 CANADIAN SCREEN AWARD - while the companion concert film “R40 LIVE” debuted at number one on Billboard. 

 

If you’re a fan of hockey, “NAMES ON THE CUP”, his feature documentary on the Stanley Cup is must see.

Narrated by Kiefer Sutherland, the epic hockey doc was nominated for a 2018 CSA. “WHAT IF?” revealed

how Baseball’s Blue Jays arrived in Toronto and WON the 2015 CSA for Best Sports Program.

 

Dale‘s scripted credits include the RON JAMES SHOW on CBC – many SHORT FILMS and hundreds of commercials for clients like ADIDAS, CIBC and SONY. He’s even had his work featured at the most prestigious Film Festival in the world. His quirky short film, “THE TRUTH ABOUT HEAD”premiered at the Cannes Film Festival

and won 4 awards while drawing comparisons to Tim Burton and Mad Magazine.
